A very dear girlfriend of mine flicked me an email a few weeks ago titled, “The Law of Love”. I found this definition, albeit a bit deeper, took Scott Pecks definition a little further. Lindsey Pope, from a website called, www.UrbanAmericanSuccess.com , gives a beautiful description of what he calls love. Lindsay says,” Love is energy. It is not just mushy, gushy, touchy, feely words, emotions or behaviour.” He then goes on to say,” Love is respect, admiration, support, negotiation, cooperation, reassurance and encouragement”. “Love is the energy produced by the two of you together, when “togetherness” is intended by you both”. I love this as a definition or as Lindsay says,” a sermon”. Great glue.

The fork in the road has arrived at age 46. Quick history- wife left me and kids 7 months ago,I work as a naturopath and counsellor and my direction has even changed there. Writing a book at the moment to help other men with the challenging ordeal of seperation and decided, in my work, to focus and specialise in treating and helping people through the journey called cancer.


Initially I was very lost but came back to my roots and have rediscovered who I am again. I have been getting great groundedness from The Science of Getting Rich and The Impersonal Life. How easy is it to compromise your inner self,spirit and soul.

Enough for now, I look forward to checking in on a regular basis.

Lindsay. Thank you for your beautiful definition of love. It sums it up in a nutshell for me. Recently, I have been left by my wife and am currently writing a book to help other men to get through this traumatic experience. I am a naturopathic Practitioner and a relationship counsellor. The "I am" ( the god) within is who we are. We need to trust and let go and let god. The greater idea will be expressed through us, as we are all instruments of the bigger idea.
